LG has finally released its Signature OLED R rollable television. The device uses a 65-inch flexible OLED panel that can roll out of sight into its base, which is designed to look like a piece of furniture when not in use. It also hints at the potential for LG to transfer the same display technology into a future smartphone-tablet hybrid.

Seriously! Who would buy this gimmick?

No 8K
No 3D without glasses
Is it even 240hz?

Just see it roll up and the novelty will wear off in short time?

GTFOH!

Seriously! Who would buy this gimmick?

Not a gimmick, but a manifestation of an innovative technology.
It's not meant to be a best-seller.

my guess, it will break sooner or later... and to cover this LG has 10 panels to replace your broken one already in stock

BTW, what happened to curved screens and these which had a motor built in to go from curved to straight?
