Its Core i7 processor is almost 40 percent slower than on the Dell latitude 9510 2-in-1 equipped with the exact same CPU. The deficit can be attributed to the shorter-lived Turbo Boost potential of the HP system.

Is it not being a business laptop?

"HP EliteBook laptops are consistently some of the best business laptops you can find when it comes to serviceability, brightness, and portability. In contrast to competitors who like to dabble in proximity sensors or carbon fiber designs, EliteBook systems focus more on the core basics that users actually want like upgradeable RAM and WLAN and an outdoor viewable display"

That USED to be the case. MY zbook 14 which is effectively a an elitebook 840 is probably the best laptop I've ever owned and the longest I've ever owned a laptop.

But now it has gone down the drain. The business aspects are being taken away from servicability to actual usage features. And elitebooks are becoming just another laptop.

I still don't understand why HP has Probook, Elitebook and zBook lines. It only confuses people. But if this is what HP wants, how about moving Probooks and Elitebooks to consumer lines and keeping zbooks as the true business option? I mean why am I paying a premium here for if its just a rebranded consumer laptop?

I won't be surprised if once corona passes over, they will see their sales fall.
