Sony has broken ground with its latest mirrorless unit, as the OEM has packed a full-frame sensor into dimensions normally reserved for APS-C cameras. The alpha 7c (or a7c) also offers a flip-out LCD touchscreen and in-body image stabilization (IBIS). It will start to become available in October 2020 for a surprisingly reasonable starting price.

Ugh, the body's price is fair but I didn't notice the kit lens's price until now, for what it is, an only moderately compact yet very slow plastic zoom made in Thailand with a mediocre range of 28-60, it's overpriced by over 100%. DPR's samples seem pretty sharp wide open for a kit but then those are review samples, it's hard to say about retail's QC, and nothing apparent about distortion. If it were a 24-55/4 for about the same size, the price might actually make sense.

Oh, and it's not the most compact FF camera, it's the most compact FF camera with IBIS. The most compact FF camera remains Sigma fp, though that one doesn't even have a mechanical shutter.
