The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy S9+ smartphones are likely to receive a cut-down version of the One UI 2.5 Android skin when it becomes available, due to hardware constraints. Samsung has been praised for offering the software update to older Galaxy models in its lineup though.

No way should this be a cut down version. I don't see how the note 9 isn't powerful enough to run the updated UI. It's been so bad lately that I never even got android 10 on my note 8 yet way less powerful phones have it. I'm done with buying the highest end Samsung's when the weaker phones are getting updates and the high end phones don't. Apparently I'm better off just getting the mid level phones now that u have to buy a new phone every 2 to 3 years.

um...what exactly IS a UI 2.5???

I'd be happier if Samsung would FIX the boatload of errors, disfunctions, and glitches that Update #16 caused. It killed my Note9, and once my replacent Note9 did update #16, it TOO has the same problems; although it's still alive.

Note 9 is the worst battery ever, it's can last for 7 hours only, they lack on battery saver to sleep most of the app running in the background, I don't think samsung note 20 ultra will make it too.
