Asus ROG Zephyrus S17 Laptop Review: Slim Gigantic Gaming Notebook with 300-Hz Panel

Asus wants to combine those characteristics in the Zephyrus S17. With Nvidia's RTX 2080 Super in the Max-Q design and a powerful Intel Core i7-10875H, the basic requirements are fulfilled, and using various tricks, sufficient cooling is supposed to be ensured. Another fake "300Hz" panel again - B2W - 8ms/G2G - 5mc, average real  ~140-145Hz....and bad contrast.

1. 2080 Super for desktop - 800$
2. i7 10875$ - 450$
3. mainboard - 150$
4. IPS panel  - 150$
5. Mem - 130
6. Battery - 60-70$.
7. SSD - 120$
8. Power supply - 50$.
9. Case+keyboard  ~150$ max.
10. Windows Home - 80$.

Sum  800+450+150+150+130+70+120+50+150+80 and total:
2150$ or 1800-1820 euro.

3300 - 1820 = +1480 еuro for nothing or for air!!!

Question for manufacturer for what +1480 euro?
Is it the wildest greed and complete inadequacy with the price or the idiocy of the company's marketers?

Honestly, just buy the 2070 Super Max-P version. I payed about 2600 USD and I got a 10875H, A 2070 Super Max-P, 32 gigs of 3200MHz Ram, and a 1TB SSD. For that price, it's much more forgiving and since the Zephyrus 10th gens have liquid metal, it keeps the CPU nice and cool, not to mention very well performing in gaming because of the excellent cooling. Combined with the chassis, which is can't be described as nothing but premium. This will vary for you guys, but the shifted keyboard fits my playstyle extremely well, and actually makes me treat it more like a desktop than a laptop. A mini desktop when used, a somewhat portable laptop when carried around.

This is coming from a previous 10th gen GS75 owner, compared to the GS75 which is a flimsy, overheated mess, the Zephyrus S17 is well worth the money, that is if you are getting anything other than the 2080 super max-q.
