Huawei updates its EMUI 10.1 upgrade plans in seven regions

Huawei has updated its EMUI 10.1 upgrade plans in seven regions. The Android 10-based OS should now have now reached almost-all eligible devices in Central Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, Japan and Russia.

For some reason fingerprint recognition not working. Checked settings for some reason it's no longer on the settings. I've rebooted my phone. I've factory reset my phone. Still no joy.

It's August 13th. and still no sign of the 10.1 update for my Mate 20 Pro LYA-L29 (India).

I wrote to Huawei who, apart from assuring me my device is eligible for the update, have not given any specific date for the release.

No, it's not. I don't know where you got that idea from.

Huawei hadn't updated its Africa and the Middle East upgrade plan when this article was written. That was why it was not included, not because of a lack of research.
