Vizio has unveiled its 2021 TV Collection that includes two OLED 4K TVs that should appeal to future owners of next-gen consoles. The 55-inch and 65-inch Vizio OLED 4K TVs feature the company's ProGaming Engine and HDMI 2.1 support, which is ideal for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The pricing should help Vizio stay competitive in the crowded marketplace.

Smartin

I'm never buying a Vizio TV again.
I bought the first gen P Series (their flagship TV) and it stopped getting updates and support after only 2 years, and the updates after year one were worthless garbage.

Same TV was also illegally recording what users were watching and selling it to advertisers. (They lost a lawsuit over it).

Trash company with trash software on otherwise decent hardware.

Granted

I couldn't agree more with Smartin. I held out for a long time to buy a flatscreen TV, and while I like the picture of my 55" Vizio, the software is a disaster and the company doesn't care enough to patch it. Hulu starts having issues after 15-20 minutes of watching any program (now well documented on the Internet) and if I switch between too many different streaming sources (like Netflix, Pandora, Amazon, etc) the TV starts having functionality issues and I have to turn it off to reboot it (which at times requires me to do so on the set since the remote becomes nonfunctional). I'll bad mouth the company until the day I die, and since I live a healthy lifestyle and longevity runs in my family that will be a long, long time.
