In 2014, AMD set forth an aim to improve the power efficiency of its processors by 25 in 6 years. Now, in 2020, the company asserts that it has not only met that goal but exceeded it. This has been done in the form of the Ryzen 7 4800H APU.

1.4 million kilowatt-hours? Really? What you're looking for is gigawatt-hour [GWh]. It's even commonly used. Similarly, thousands of kilograms are megagrams [Mg]. That one is not commonly used. Instead, we typically use tonnes [t]. But it's still perfectly valid (just like a megametre [Mm]). Well, it's more than that. Tonne is not an SI unit. It's just tolerated.
