Dell has released the XPS 17 9700 and Precision 17 5750. The devices start at US$1,399.99 and US$2,399 respectively. However, you must spend US$1,899.99 if you want a dedicated GPU with the XPS 17 9700 and at least US$2,849.99 for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q model.

Is it just me or has Dell increased the prices overall for their whole XPS lineup.

I used to prefer XPS to Razer Blade but with this pricing I just go for the Blade...

At the moment on the Dell site the Inspiron 5750 is only listed with the Quadro T2000. Would be strange if they sold the RTX 3000 for $2300 but the RTX 2060 for $2800.

You can have the RTX 3000 only with the i7 or more powerful chip selected

FYI, in the 'For Work' section of Dell's website, there's a fifth XPS 17 configuration at ~$2,400 with the RTX 2060.

So to get the RTX 2060 we have to pay more than the price of a Macbook Pro??

I know DELL put a lot of time and effort into developing this thing (for the first time in 5 years...), but I do  not feel that their quality control is high enough to justify these prices. The number of people already having problems with their new XPS 15 is quite high, and for simple things like the trackpad. I will wait for the price to go down if I get one.

I am sure the XPS 17 is a very good laptop but due to AMD 4000 series offering just that much more value and performance on both the cpu and igpu side, and the RTX 2000 series line is now long overdue with the RTX 3000 chips being right around the corner and promise to be a lot better in both raw rasterization performance and ray tracing, this XPS 17 will lose value so hard it's not even normal. I would highly recommend holding off a purchase on this thing, especially at 3K $. Even around that price I'd consider the Macbook Pro 16 instead.

Shines light to monitor screen as it recharges the battery and closed too like with smart TVs and desktops with glass reflectors and smartphones soon to recharge them wirelessly like those ev cars ships and planes and jets/spacecraft using advanced flex solar flex plex window tech transparent panels even for artificial lighting in the home and even in the dark with solar paneling and for in theory internet as well so bye bye another i/o port for 4k portable cable boxes being your laptops and phones soon.
