LG has now launched its latest phone, the LG Stylo 6. The Stylo 6 features a 6.8-inch IPS display, a Helio P35, a triple rear camera setup, and a 4000 mAh battery. The star of the otherwise bleak show, however, is the phone's built-in stylus.

Actually, I did some research and the helio p35 is just as fast as the SD 665, so your way off when you say that the p35 is slower than a 4 year old processor. Please do some research before you criticize something.

That's contrary to what our GB 4.4 numbers say.

Where do you see it comes with 128gb storage..  try 64gb storage..

Geekbench only gives an overall rating score based on hardware performance. There is more to speed in a computer than processor. Although the CPU does most of the heavy lifting, ram and ram speed also accounts for a good portion of it as well. 3Gb should be the lowest amount put into smartphones now, but you will find super cheap ones with less or more. 4Gb-6Gb is the sweet spot for most smartphones. More ram means more programs and run in the background and more tasks can be launched. The fact that LG Stylo 6 has only 3Gb of ram, it would score lower overall to a phone with a similar processor but more available ram to use, I.E. 4Gb. More programs and processes can run with more ram. So just because a device scores lower than another doesn't mean it has inferior hardware. There's more going on.

Also some companies have better optimization of the Google software than others. But this is an entirely different issue. I digress. I said my peace. Hopefully no one hates on me for it.

What an absolute crap review. Zero facts, couldn't even get specs right... Claims stuff is standard that straight up isn't.

2gb ram 32-64g of storage is standard

3 gb with 128g mem is not standard.. or this phones specs.

Tho you complain about a BUDGET phone being BUDGET.

The LG Stylo 6 comes standard with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

Thanks for pointing that out! Mistake on my part.  ;)

when is LG going to take advantage of the Stylo brand and put out what we are all hoping for? A solid mid ranged phone in the $400+/- segment that offers solid form and function, instead of budget crap?

This phone could easily have 4gb/128gb, or even 6gb/256gb,  wireless charging, and a decent snapdragon chipset, all for $399...

I have owned a stylo 1, 2, 3, and 4. All were almost good. I now have a s10+ that is overkill for my needs. I just want a capable stylo and I will gladly pay for it.

One thing missed is that whether it does or does not offer wireless charging. I bought a 4 and it doesn't have it. I called LG and was told many devices don't offer it. I replied "5 years ago maybe but now there's no excuse not to have it in a smart device." Their response was basically "Oh well. It's your problem now." Never buying another LG product.
