The Apple iPhone X is currently selling on Amazon for just US$445. This makes Apple's erstwhile flagship cheaper than the OnePlus 7T and even the midrange Xiaomi Mi Note 10. Budget users put off by the iPhone SE's compromises might find this an excellent alternative.

I guess it's very much based on where you're from. In Singapore, the iPhone X costs usd$558 and mi note 10 costs usd$487

Really depends on which part of the world you are from. Mi Mix2s 64GB version (their flagship from iPhone X era) is only about $150USD after tax.

oneplus 7t is 500 from the official website and its 128gb version. most forget to mention the non expandable storage low 64gb of iphones in the comaprison price bracket. SE is 450 for 128gb and 550 for 256gb.

This is so sad... Buying outdated iPhone instead of brand new model? Three years old iPhone... The price is still way to high.

not sure about iPhone X but over in my place the OnePlus 7T (128gb) and iPhone 7 Plus (128gb) are both the same price 460USD. for comparison sake the most expensive iPhone 11 Pro Max is 1600USD, Huawei P40 Pro at 900USD.

Their SoC is 2 years ahead and a 3 year old iPhone still has a good chance of being supported for longer than your current gen Android flagship, for those who care about software updates.

True, but the phone is an old stock, you will have no idea how much the battery will deteriorate while being kept in the box. Plus older SOCs are less efficient than newer ones. The other components, such as camera, would not age as well either. Perhaps it will function well as a backup phone.
