Bad news about that Nintendo Switch Pro, folks

Nintendo has dealt a blow for those who were hoping to see the company release a new Nintendo Switch this year. While it does not preclude Nintendo from bringing a Pro SKU of the console to market in the near future, you can rule out it arriving before the end of the year.

Of course they say it, everybody would wait for the new one and they would not sell the current ones well. Last year they said similar things and we got Lite and OG refresh, hence I believe it is still possible there will be a Pro this year...

Yes exactly - Nintendo denied any new models in April/May 2019, then release both the LITE and CPU UPGRADE versions later in the year.
