Some new price tags for two variants of the Sony PlayStation 5 have made their way online but have rapidly been denied by the manufacturer of the next-generation console. It was claimed that a PS5 with a 4 TB SSD would cost the equivalent of over US$1,000, while the same source stated that December 4, 2020 had been confirmed as the official release date.

umm, PC master race. The prize of the new consoles will clear the only reason people buy Consoles over PC . For 1000$ you can build much better PC than these console will be capable .

Ummmm PC disaster race. To bad this things will be no more than $500.
Find me a PC that can play games in 4K for $500 and you'll have a point but you just come off as obnoxious.

Only reason? Hardly. You consider all gamers hardcore obviously which is not the case especially on console gaming. Hardcore or without budget gamers are already on PCs. Console audience has always been broader because of issues like portability and screen size not to mention budget. Not many people are bugged with fps issues which are barely seen on newer consoles now. PC performance is superior but comes with a lot of baggage. And you still need a serious chunk of cash to get that performance anyways. Not even gonna mention technical problems that can occur on any PC regularly regardless of quality. Consoles will be fine as long as they deliver what they promise and not try to do too much.

To all the idiots, if you think 8k gaming on that hardware is possible you need to stop talking to PC people like you know what you are talking about at all. The thing is using PC hardware that cant 8k game.
