Sony overtakes Nikon as the second-largest camera manufacturer in the world

Historically, Canon and Nikon have dominated the digital camera market. That duopoly changes now, as Sony has sold more cameras than Nikon this year, leapfrogging its competitor into second place.

If Nikon didn't discontinue the production of some of its APS-C Dslrs, they wouldn't have a sales slump... But now they focus on rich people to buy their stuff.
