We are currently reviewing Lenovo's new mobile workstations including the ThinkPad P53 with the extremely powerful Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 as well as the two slimmer models ThinkPad P53s & P43s.

Would it be possible to get reviews of the performance in more of the Autodesk software that is focused on the AEC industry like ReCap, Revit, Civil 3D, and some of the industry standard additions like Enscape and Fuzor?

Can you boot P53 from a external USB C SSD of flash drive? Can you select them from boot menu?  Can Dolby Audio software be used with a external USB C headset? Thanks! enduser.

What happens when the Lenovo defective hinge falls apart? Don't turn to Lenovo. 👎

Interested to hear about performance (CPU and GPU), heat generation & removal (e.g. noise levels), overall feel of the material, and how long the 90 Whr battery lasts with this setup. Thanks!

When is Week 41? What day will that be? Have been waiting for P53 with RTX5000 review.

Would be great if you could include any testing data you have on supposed CPU / GPU throttling due to movement sensors even while stationary?  It's been referenced in several posts on the Lenovo forums (e.g. forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Series-Mobile/P53-Performance-Issues-Thermal-Power-Throttling/m-p/4528377).

Thank you.

It's already well past the two dates mentioned in the article. When can we expect the review for the P53? Would be nice to know if the Quadro RTX5000 is worth the lack of octa core in it's configuration. If the difference between the RTX5000 and 4000 configurations are not too bad, I'd take the extra 2 CPU cores, I guess.

Yep, been checking back for what I know will be the best review out there, but wondering if there is a testing glitch you are waiting on Lenovo to resolve?
