Acer launches new Swift 3 and Swift 5 notebooks with Intel Ice Lake and NVIDIA MX250 graphics

Acer has updated the Swift 3 and Swift 5 notebooks to offer Intel Ice Lake and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 options. The new Swift laptops are thin and extremely lightweight and come with features such as Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt 3, and a long-lasting battery with fast charge that can offer up to 12.5 hours of runtime.

Laptops OEM's do everything to ruin laptops. If the iGPU of Ice Lake with G7 perform basically like mx150 (mx250 have no better) why does they put 10/25W more to thin laptops.... also that makes less space for battery and worst prize at the end.... MAKE NO SENSE...

Yep, dumb to put the extra graphics chip in this laptop.  Even dumber if Acer didn't change the screen to matte.   But as long as Asus keep screwing up their own offerings, I guess there is no real competition or reason to try to offer users what they want in an ultrabook.
