Small Update, Large Change? The ThinkPad E470 is the latest addition to the popular Lenovo business series. This entry-level model of the E-series uses a 7th generation Intel Core processor and promises more performance and battery life. All of this for an attractive price. Is the quality still up to par?

It's not all about thin bezels, which you fail to understand... The bezel isn't even that "enormous"? I wouldn't even think their LCDs are garbage because they're not. You probably see less colour. You should complain about HPs, other Dells, MSI, Asus, Aorus, Gigabyte and Acer's laptop displays with "enormous" bezels!

the first point was the color i suppose.
And theres was still more than one manufacturer per model.

Sorry, but PWM and low percentage sRGB are not suitable today.

Thank you for this review. I have one simple question: In terms of durability, screen comfort and keyboard quality, is the price difference justified going from the E to T range? In short, would it be worth waiting and paying more for the coming T470?

My feeling is that the battery life has not improved as much. As a person who travels a lot, my needs are certainly not being met. If you are looking for a lightweight laptop that delivers on performance in terms of energy consumption, look elsewhere.
