Now, I used this laptop one weak, so I want write review to this laptop. First of all, this laptop outward is very beautiful, and the laptop starts quickly and charges fast.  This laptop only one question, is start power display will have a problem, you just need restart will OK. On the other hand, the laptop everything is great. You can play 90 percent games, and this laptop music quality is very well.  This laptop is very cool and strong, only weight is heavy.  This laptop overall is very well, I highly recommend this computer.

"Raw processor performance of the i7-6700HQ is within just a few percentage points from the costlier i7-6820HK according to CineBench benchmarks" -- but what if the 6820HK is overclocked via Intel XTU or Throttlestop vs overclocking hte 6700HQ (Since all Skylake CPUs are somewhat overclockable)?

" ..certainly a step ahead of 5400 RPM drives where transfer rates can be 90 MB/s or slower."
Check out the Samsung M9T 2TB 5400RPM 9.5mm hard drive. It's sequential speeds are easily 120MB/s and random transfer performance isn't bad either, though not it's strong point.
It's a great drive, no real advantage of a 1TB 7200RPM laptop drive over the 2TB M9T and not significantly more expensive either.

I find the Asus G751 and G852 to be quite ugly and crappy because you can't take it apart easily for upgrading. The MSI GT70 and GT60, I like that a lot. Looks better than the MSI GT72 and you can upgrade them to an extreme Haswell CPU and the 980m GPU, possibly even newer in the future.

What programs are you running to reach those core temperatures? We're unable to replicate your temperature conditions even with furmark and prime95.

as for the left USB ports, we're experiencing the same issues with external HDDs and will see if this continues when we receive the G752VY test model.

Has this issue been resolved? I'm getting this laptop in a week and for the hefty price tag I sure as hell don't want to be worried about where I plug my external hdd into or any other device. At this price level I expect nothing but a flawless laptop, unless you maybe got a lemon by chance.

How easy is it to upgrade/change wifi-card in the future in G752VT?
Is it easy to reach those parts on the motherboard?
There is a step-by-step photo manual that CUKUSA.com made, it shows how to dissemble the G752 to upgrade the wifi-card, here's the link http://cukusa.com/asus-rog-g752vt-rh71-i7-6700hq-17-3-full-hd-gaming-laptop.html#service-manual

Here's a question: What is wrong with ROG G752 Laptop? I was about to buy it (the top model) but all of a sudden everybody (including Asus) started pretending that it doesn't exist. There are no reviews. There are no promos. You never explained the vapor chamber cooling system that is only being used in the top model (G752VY). Why is that there is not even one review of that model (VY) in existence? So, again, WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT?

I just bought the VL and I'm very happy.  Performs well with WoW and Second Life.  Quietest laptop I've ever owned.  However, the only real complaint is the placement of the gaming center button.  It should be located ANYWHERE else.  When I'm looking to hit the Home key, I always hit that stupid GC key.  Screws my rhythm up.  I don't want to have to switch my hotkeys, but I may have to.

does any1 know if this model has HDMI 1.3 video output supporting a 297MHz clock via a direct output architecture

After BIOS update.216 G752VT is capable of RAID (0 or1) directly trough BIOS under IRST section. I bought another OEM 128GB PM951 (NVMe) and i'm running in RAID 0. Naturally for RAID installation i had to add Intel driver folder to my Windows 10 Stick.
