Dell will launch its updated XPS 13 and XPS 15 with Intel Skylake processors in October 2015. The XPS 15 comes with a new 4K Infinity display and Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M. The XPS 12 2in1 will follow next January.

Hello!
When are you going to write reviews about those laptops?
I'm especially interested in XPS 15, because of choosing between that one and Acer VN7-591G-70RT.
Or at least planned date of posting of that article, so people like me could know that it's worth waiting or not.

Hi all, thanks for the preview article about these laptops. I have an external monitor with displayport input (dell p2414h): i'd like to know if the new thunderbolt3 port/usb3.1 form factor is compatible with the DP port of my monitor. Thuderbolt3 specs seem to support it but xps specs don't. I'm a little confused.

Thanks

Jeff

Is the trackpad glass-smooth or sandpaper-rough on the new Dell XPS 15?

I bought my wife a Dell about six months ago. Great machine, but the trackpad feels gritty to my fingers. Great specs on this machine. Just want to make sure about the trackpad. And how is overall use of that component, in your view?

Thanks.

And what would be the advantages and disadvantages of the LPDDR3 used by the XPS13 vs the DDR4 used by the DDR4 used by XPS15 and Inspiron 13?
