Let's get down to business. Dedicated business notebooks tend to last for years, so it's important to pick the one that best fits your needs. We compare the three currently popular 12.5-inch models to see which is worth your time.

You mixed up the laptops several times!

Battery life: The Thinkpad wins, but the HP has the best runtime

Verdict: the Thinkpad runs coolest and quietest, not the HP

Table at the end: the Dell has no trackpoint, not the HP

made the small corrections, thanks for the keen eye!

we purposefully chose the lenovo over the hp in battery life due to its proprietary battery features for better versatility

Very nice article, thanks you for the comparison!

One question to the author: In your opinion how would a Broadwell equipped Toshiba Portege Z30-B compare to these 3 big guns? Assuming it has kind of the same configuration: FullHD screen, 8GB memory, and 256GB SSD. (https://www.notebook.de/toshiba-ultrabook-portege-z30-b-11t-core-i7-5500u-240ghzwin-781-p-73424)

I think that the only flaw on that laptop is the lack of the display port (which can be overcome with the docking station). What do you think?

hello,

The Portege Z30 models are great business notebooks in general even though they are not as popular. Of course it is also bigger and heavier than what we have on this page, so a direct comparison would be difficult. We'll eventually have a comparison page between 13-inch business notebooks.

You can check out our two review pages on the Z30 for more info

Hey,
I am sporty but the weight on Dell Latitude E7250 is not correct !!! You wrote 1,5kg. and it is miles away from the reality ! It's only 1,26kg. and it's the lightest of all 3 on this article. Also when you want to compete bear in mind to compete the same stream of components (only E7250 is with i5 cores, all other are i7 cores)

biggest plus of x250 is the battery life up to 16 hours (bigger battery option) and then be able to switch the battery. I never would like tho have something less than that. 2 Days of work without charging.
