HP Pro Slate 8 & Pro Slate 12 officially announced

HP recently unveiled two new high-end Android tablets, the HP Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12. The two devices are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip and are just 8mm thick.

What marketing genius decided that the larger tablet should have a lower resolution than the smaller tablet?. 

I have a galaxy note 12.2 with 2560x1600..

I cant imagine how poor the screen quality will be on this large HP tablet,

particularly one that includes the brilliant wacom pen technology..

what a wasted effort by HP.
