Fast for 2 gigs RAM. But Google Docs is ONE CHAOTIC USER-UNFRIENDLY MESS!!  Even the Geek Squad couldn't figure out how to navigate this nightmare. Windows is 10 times easier to use than this pain!! So if you need to write documents or load pics from a flash, or pics downloaded from the internet to a flash (which i couldn't figure out how to do) good luck!  I'm not to fond of the wifi connection boxes that pop up also. Again, Windows has that figured out at least half way decent.

It's only $150, so there isn't much to complain about. The one thing I find very annoying is the little mouse pad (not sure what to call it). It's very loud and requires you to press it much harder than my Macbook. I think this is a perfect computer for a teenager that needs one for school or something.

If you need more Acer ChromeBook Full review: you can see this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBTs8iR93Oc and decide to buy it !

I think this is a great product for first time users.  I just bought two for my niece 12 and nephew 9 for Christmas.  The only thing I have issue with is the OS.  It will not properly run Minecraft (big letdown for the PC edition they wanted) and it wont properly run Skype.  I wish I had done more research before buying a non Windows product.  However, as I said for first time users this will suffice.  Just know this is NOT a laptop this is a Chromebook.  Do your research (unlike me who just got overly excited bought online and now Christmas night a bit disappointed) and know there are ways around some of these issues as long as you know your way around technology.  We don't all know what HTML means.  Any answer to that would be great.  Merry Christmas maybe next year they will get a real laptop.

Hi I just want to know if this is only a Wifi device? Trying to connect with mobile network but no success. Can't seem to find where to enable mobile data?

after reading all the high tech mumbo jumbo you think the product would operate a lot better than it does may be it's only my unit . l have found my screen constantly freezes and the key board sucks . this unit is not in the same level as the asus

I've owned one of these for 9 months now, and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's particularly good with Ubuntu installed. (CNET has instructions for installing Ubunto on a Chromebook.) The result is inexpensive and stable, as the review mentioned. Using Ubuntu, I was able to fix  two minor problems with ChromeOS - the annoying Canadian multilingual keyboard, and relatively drab screen display. Anyway, I can run Google Chrome with any extension quite normally. Such extensions include Gmail, Evernote, Dropbox, ... Even LibreOffice (an open-source Microsoft Office clone) works fine. This Chromebook is an impressive little machine.

You mentioned yourself that you have done no research, and you really should have. This is a laptop*, and it's not a powerful one. It runs chrome os, which doesn't stop it being a laptop. If you want to run Minecraft PC edition on them, you'll need a considerably more expensive device that runs Windows. With the recent addition of Android app support to chromebooks, you will be able to run the skype app fine on them.

Can we use this Chromebook in a projector instead of a laptop?

I have had this Acer Chromebook probably about 4 years and really like it. I take it when on road and will probably take it overseas instead of my HP 15" laptop.  It's easy to use, though think I would have liked the keys a mm higher.

The biggest problem I have is opening documents which I thought was easy to do. If I download, and these are not large, I cannot seem to open. I think this is a problem with Chromebooks as my friend has a larger version and seems to have the same problem.

It is good value for the money spent and I am happy overall...
