Brilliant star. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 relies on an in-house South Korean processor, which is why it slightly lags the Note 10.1 in terms of performance. Battery life shows some flaws, which are however still in a very good range. The star of the Tab S is clearly the display, which can entirely convince.

I really wanted to do a head to head feel, ergonomic, and design appeal challenge with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and the Sony Xperia Z2 but no one had the Z2 in stock. I was really considering getting a used Nexus 10 but don't like the used idea, thick bezels and outdated hardware in a Tegra 3 and slower ram. I am happy with the Samsung and it's a major leap up from my Asus Transformer TF101. The moly regret is the PRICE. $499 for the 16gb version.

There is nothing special about the Sony Z2 tablet, I just bought it, and I sold it immediately for the following reasons.
Firstly, it has a very short battery life,
Secondly it has a very poor screen resolution,  like phone screens, thirdly, it is too wide, the side bezels are very large, it s not modern.
The tablet is simply a failure and can be liked only by a first time tablet user.

I have been looking for a tablet to kick around the house that not only let me read all my favorite books on my downtime, but also controlled things around the house like light switches and the TVs. I have been in this home automation kick as of late, so that of course was a must have feature. I was reading around and almost bought a Nexus until I read in one mag that the new Samsung destroyed it in performance. After reading a few more online (ie, http://pocinc.net/blog/product-reviews/review-samsung-galaxy-tab-s-10-5-inch-tablet for one example or the one right here, or the one at Cnet), I wound up getting sold on it. Let me tell you.....yeah baby! This thing rocks my world. I even take it to work with me when possible. It's like my new best friend }:) Also good with games and Netflix....oh I needs me my Netflix!
