My advise: I have been working with it and its keyboard its horrible. Screen nice, baterry ok.

I wish they would integrate an Ethernet port. It can be done in the current thickness -- stop copying crApple and put it there instead of that pointless battery indicator.

I found out how to solve the flickering problem at low brightness levels.

Just download an utility like DimScreen (portable, no installation, just a tray icon).
With DimScreen you can dimmer your screen, obtaining a much lower brighness than the standard minimum brightness provided by DELL (which is also a good thing for your eyes in general, if you find DELL XPS screen too bright).

So the solution for the DELL flickering problem is simple:
1) Set a high brightness using the standard notebook hotkeys
2) Set high dim (= low brightness) through DimScreen.


You will have the "stability" of high brightness levels, but at actual low brightness.
