Red Baron. After the Pro 11 we have a closer look at the 13-inch Red Edition. How much polish can an elitist business notebook handle? How much performance can the just 10 mm thin base unit keep cool? Our review gives the answers.

I must say, both Vaio Pro models have significantly better keyboard than certain older models like the Vaio Z. If you didn't mind the Samsung Series9 keyboard, it's a little hard to imagine you disliking the Vaio Pro for their keyboards. :)

Also your "Surfing with WLAN" battery test for both models seem a little odd. I've seen more than one test elsewhere get better results that are much closer to what they got with the Haswell MacBook Airs.

I have a Sony Vaio Pro. Fiddling with Passmark software and comparing the benchmarks with other Vaio Pros out there, it seems that they come with either Toshiba or Samsung SSDs, the Samsung being significantly faster (about 60-80%). This makes the Vaio Pro with Samsung SSD easily the fastest disk of the test excluding Acer's RAID 0, and even then it seems faster in random reads.

Wifi is a big problem with the Sony Pro13. I returned two of these to the Microsoft Store secondary to wifi issues.

I had one and loved everything about it at first... till I realized the wifi range and speed could not be fixed- It took 30 min to load printer drivers on line! Sony is still selling this computer without disclaimer for this major limitation which has been echoed in  hundreds of Sony community pages... given the price, the wifi problem cannot accepted and therefore neither can this laptop

Current units in europe starting from 2.2.2014 or was it 3.2.2014 2 days ago of this writing ordered from sony online store are 2014 models or something. They have fixed wifi network component etc (a/b/g/n/ac). Also currently there is only +40e to base price to get 256GB PCIe ssd.
