Brilliant article. It's really refreshing to read a review based on technical specs and not just on 'impressions'.
Keep up the great work. I'm off to bookmark this freshly-found site.

Thanks,
Mike

I have an Asus T100TA with keyboard that includes a 500GB HD, you could use the keyboard Asus T100 TA in this Asus Transformer Book T100HA?

I've already purchased this product with one reason, because notebookcheck confimed with the LCD quality (IPS screen with very good brightness). Overall I satisfied with this product value (4GB RAM, 128GB eMMC and USB 3.0/type C)

But I have an issue with the touch screen that disabled by Windows when this machine goes deep battery saving. So I have to hard reset (press the off button without shut down from windows) to recover the touch screen function.

Thank You Notebookcheck, keep up the great work.

I did not see any reference whatsoever to the hard disc in the keyboard unit. Is it still 500 Gbyte or larger?

You mention in this article that the resolution of this tablet is 1200x800 at 143PPI, which is incorrect.
The device has a resolution of 1280x800 at 149.45PPI

@Jordan- I think you mean successor. Though in fact I don't agree it's the successor to the T100TA

Thanks for excellent review. I have booked T100HA and its on the way to deliver. I have on doubt on this product. Does it support "Expandable Storage" ?
Like most of the other products in this category supports expandable storage via microSD cards.
In specifications, it has been mentioned as "Card Reader - microSD/micro SDXC" but its not clear that it supports Expandable Storage.

Can any one confirm on this ?

This is a pretty fair review ...

Except that you're comparing it to the wrong product. The T100 Chi is a more expensive product. This device is the direct predecessor of the T100TA.

It would be great if you could add two categories to your reviews:  stylus functionality and functioning of external ports.  It seems more and more of us are interested in using a stylus for taking notes and handwriting recognition, and on capacitive screens that can sometimes be tricky.  Also, probably many of us are using light laptops and tablets to travel, and that means we are probably also using them to do presentations, hooking them up to projectors with VGA adapters.  It would be great to find out just how well the hdmi port works.

Could you test usb 3.1 performance? I've seen somewhere that its double the usb 3.0 speed.

First of all, thanks for the great review!
I was wondering if you could tell me about the sound quality when using headphones (watching a movie f.ex.).

More than meets the eye? Asus has leveraged the criticism of their T100 Chi to concoct a completely refined successor which corrects nearly all of its issues. Plus, just for kicks, it's 25% less expensive, too! Is this the Chromebook killer Windows needs?
