Having received no feedback to my track pad query and not being able to try a 3150 locally, I spoke to Aspen Solutions of Glasgow who were very helpful and reassured me about my concerns. I subsequently bought one; Pentium 3540, upgraded by Aspen with a Crucial 250GB SSD and 8GB RAM running Windows 10. I now have a very fast "conventional" laptop with a matte screen and a track pad that works very well. A good machine and excellent service from a Dell Partner.....I highly recommend both the laptop and the supplier.

This laptop ticks all the boxes for me but I am concerned about the trackpad review. Hard to find another review out there so can any owners/users comment on the trackpad please

School's calling. Rigid, ready-to-go and enduring is how Dell presents its new Education lineup. The combination of these key specs quite convinced us in the test, and thus Dell's Latitude 11 is also eligible for the classic office environment.
