Don't be fooled by good reviews and technical characteristics - Asus Chi is total crap:
1. Completely crashes in few months. In a year two notebooks had to be replaced due to unrepairable failures.
2. To pair a keyboard - whole pain, takes a long time or mission impossible.
3. Unacceptable lags, if microSD is involved.

Avoid Asus Chi at all costs.

Hallo,

absolutely fantastic review. I have a pressing question that maybe you could answer me, if you still have the notebook with you.

I have been looking for a notebook/tablet combination, that allows me a lower resolution in notebook mode and a higher one when using the tablet. Why? Because I want to use the tablet as a reader and a high pixel density would improve the text. But when using the notebook, honestly, I prefer a resolution of 1280x720 over Full HD or even QHD. Because Microsoft Windows looks good in 1280x720 on a 12,5 inch display, all GUI elements are sufficiently large, I don't enjoy how small everything gets on Full HD. In my opinion Full HD is more suited for 21-24 inch monitors, not for 12,5 inches.

So I'm trying to find out how 1280x720 would look on the 2560x1440 display. Is the graphic driver clever enough to just quadruple every pixel, keeping the image sharp? Because more often, the driver is really stupid and interpolates regardless, making the image fuzzy, even when a clean pixel duplication is in order.

In Thailand Commart Comtech Expo The 8 GB Ram model (2k display) price normally at 34990 THB but sale to 29990 THB with ASUS Zenfone 2 (64 GB model 11990 THB) so the price for this notebook is 18000 THB (included VAT) = 503.08 USD

In the box also cone with Stylus and screen wipe cloth

It's very lag when watching 720p video on youtube in full screen. I always use high performance to make video run smooth.

The system ASUS sent you here is not typical, as it has 8gb of RAM. That is a "limited edition" version and is very hard to find for purchase. The street model of the T300 Chi has 4gb of RAM, which will make it slower while browsing multiple tabs or heavier web pages.

Hello,

The model may not be available yet in all regions. The Amazon and Microsoft stores both currently carry the T300 Chi in North America:

Find your inner Zen with the Chi. The runaway success of the lauded Zenbook Ultrabooks and Transformer tablets have prompted Asus to create a whole new family of convertibles under the Transformer Book series known as the Chi. The T300 Chi is the most powerful of the bunch and its 2560 x 1440 display has us impressed.
