I just have to comment on this. I've had this notebook for 3 years now and even today, the display is superb! It is amazing how well live TV in HD looks on this small tablet. As of right now, I still get 100 percent battery life for the tablet and the keyboard. Speaking of which, the keyboard still belongs to some of the best ever made! Even after 3 years, it hasn't missed a beat and the clicks are just as crisp as the day I purchased it! Now the tablet was made for windows 10, I would even go as far as to say, the tablet was premature for when it came out. This tablet performs better today, than it did when I purchased it with windows 8. I've had many Surface tablets since having this one and this one is still the only tablet I have. My thin light gaming notebooks takes care of everything, I keep this one around because it is so small and I never have to turn it completely off. There are better options right now, but man has this one been serving me well!

Before considering this tablet, look at what real owners (not paid reviewers) have to say about this shoddy product and disenfranchising manufacturer. In over 30 years in the IT world I have never seen such a vast group of customers so abused and orphaned by Dell.

My wife bought me the Dell Venue 11 Pro 128GB i5 7139, the stylus and the battery/keyboard unit for Christmas of  last year! It arrived January 16th the following year.

Six months of fixes, patches, numerous BIOS flashes, motherboard replacement, power supply replacement, stylus replacement and countless emails, chat sessions and phone calls later, we are without any equipment (all received by Dell May 5th) AND they unilaterally closed our case file without refunding us for the tablet.

As of this morning's phone call, we were told Dell "reset" a new case file (which reset their required response time) and that they are once again looking into it; that we should hear from them sometime in early June. This shoddy design and support of this equipment is only surpassed by their return/refund groups.

Should be noted, the Dell Venue model 7130 has been available since December 2013, and is equipped with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and the i5-4300Y processor.  It is far more comparable to the Surface 2 Pro in benchmark tests.

Can it run JRiver aif and flac hirez files thru USB out to an external DAC ?
A review with the dock would be great. I am considering a wired ethernet connection to a WD MYBOOK LIVE /  MyCloud as a permanent hifi setup

Truly professional? The Dell Venue 11 Pro is a Windows tablet aimed at the business user. We take a look at the version with Core i3 processor to determine if it is indeed a suitable companion for the office.
