 >:( >:(Sorry to say I totally disagree on the reliability and quality....Immediately after the very first update the unit will not boot...!!! It gets stuck after a new popup logo is shown...I struggled for days to find a service center in the central part of Italy, none ! I asked an operator of Lenovo who told me, in short, that I should have NOT updated !!! She said one must keep the original software as it is !! UBELIEVABLE ! Believe it or not, but if you simply browse the web with the simple key words necessary Lenovo+Yoga 8 etc. you will be surprised as to the dozens of unlucky people claiming exactly the same problem I mentione above. Conclusion: never again Lenovo, of course

Well, I bought one a couple of months ago - the 8 inch, after looking at a number of different tablets, and owning a Kindle Fire HD (which I eventually sold) and some other android tablets, over a period of time. Frankly, I don't recognise the tablet in this review as the one I own!  I absolutely love it! It s far and away the best tablet I've tried; I don't have a problem with the screen resolution, even comparing it with the Kindle HD, and I find the colours bright and saturated. I use it for browsing the internet, watching Youtube and reading books  - which it's particularly good for - the size is perfect and its light and easy to hold. I didn't like the Lenovo launcher, but soon fixed that by loading one of my own choice free from Play Store. And the battery life is amazing! I only have to charge it every three or four days, even with a lot of WIFi use. The stand is great too. I certainly didn't want to pay Apple prices, but looking at other Android options in the shop, the design (it looks fabulous!) and usability of this just stood out. I have no regrets at all and heartily recommend this little beauty!

Put a blue-tooth earpiece into the rounded end and make a fabulous phablet.

Stamina and stability. Both are quite the virtues of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 8, thanks to its large 6000 mAh battery and the integrated kickstand. But what about the rest of its ingredients? While both the bright 8-inch IPS display and the unusual shape make for great eyecatchers, we will have to see whether the Mediatek MT8389 SoC with 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage space suffice to remain competitive in the price segment below 300 euros.
