I'm a software consultant and reliability is a key for me, have always been a Toshiba fan but let a salesman talk me into buying this machine. After 6 months of use I have to say it is the worst computer I have owned since I have been in business for myself - 15 years. Have had issues with wifi, the ssd crashed, two usb ports don't work. Wouldn't recommend this computer to anybody. Awful.

I was wondering if the 24Mb cache was a separate mSata SSD and if I could exchange it for a 60Mb  mSata boot SSD. I tried to remove the back of the laptop. The battery side of the back cover can be loosened easily. The front side of the back cover however is very tightly fixed with plastic snap hooks. I did not dare to open it further. Looking into the opened maintenance cover I located the 24Mb Kinston mSata SSD. Yes it is a separate mSata SSD and yes there is space to exchange it for a larger 60Mb mSata SSD.

I bought this laptop 5 months ago and i m little disapointed ! So slow with win8 with nothing running. I don't know if there is a Asus bundle what make windows so slow. It seems come from the RAM mémoire, always to 80% ! Is there someone here who add 4G RAM more? is it run better with 8G RAM?

Ultra-touch. Touchscreens are trendy. Following smartphones, tablets and convertibles, the first touch-sensitive screens are now moving into the conventional laptop and ultrabook category. Is it an unnecessary gimmick or a practical feature? Read in the following review whether the combination of potent ultrabook and touchscreen can convince us.
