I have had the Acer 7739Z for a year, and am almost totally (oxymoron?) pleased.  As I am not a gamer or demanding user, it fills my needs well.  My only wish is that it employ a non-glare screen.  Kudos to Acer!  (Dell and HP take notice.) 3/28/13

I bought this same system with a 750GB HD in November of 2011 for $399 Canadian from FutureShop .... It has been a wonderfully adept machine and we have put it through many rigors both on the road and at home ... a good buy for anyone who needs a versatile laptop computer that will do all essential tasks [and then some] save for "Gaming" ... a full five stars (5*****) here.

The cheaper, the better: Those with very basic needs are able to find a decent selection of laptops in the 400 Euro - price range. In this review we will determine if the Acer Aspire 7739Z, which starts at 375 Euro, is truly the bargain it appears to be.
