i bought this laptop from tiger direct and can say its is a very impressive machine for the price, have no problems with gaming such as lol, warthunder and call of duty ghost. had enough RAM to do any modern tasks and the 1 tb allows for alot of downloading, what really impressing me was the sound quality, off of my laptops are 2.1 but this is the best yet, my friends Apple mac and asus does not compare. battery like is very good, can last me my whole day at school. the only problem i have is the screen quality, pixel density is average but the color quality is poor.

:'(  I am a Toshiba fan and was unable to buy a suitable unit which left me with this Samsung (first time using Samsung).  I am impressed with all but the keyboard.  Since purchase I have had no end of trouble with it.  It jumps unannounced to different sections of the screen and jumbles the words it lands on . This means I have to maintain a vigilant eye on the screen or go back and redo each article all of the time. This is not sometimes it is almost all of the time which makes all my tasks very time consuming.  Would love feedback on a possible solution to this.

An example of this is       when I typpae the words just sneocuak pieces into other rts of my dment.   You can imagine how frustrating this is if you are a speed typist

I managed to acquire one of these laptops at a price of six hundred and seventy-eight dollars, (it was on sale) and at that price I was incredibly impressed by this machine's performance. A thousand dollars wasn't in my budget, and if that's what this one was going for, then I wouldn't have bought it. Still, the performance offered is nevertheless more than adequate for a mainstream gamer like myself.

This model in INDIA is coming with GT650M 2 GB graphic card & 1600*900 pixel screen. Rest same. So its quite obvious that gaming performance will increase for sure.

"1366 x 768 pixels"

...stopped reading there. 15.6" should have full HD. It's no wonder PC sales are down with stuff like this. Make 1080p the standard of choice on a 15.6" display and the whole market looks more appetizing. It is 2012 and I expect high-definition, low-power draw, USB 3.0, nice keyboard and a pleasant battery life. No one wants a laptop that has this kind of DPI, especially these days where "retina" labelling is coming of age. SSD's should really become more standard though I can see why they aren't.

For $1000 I could have all the features I've mentioned plus much better graphics. Big name companies like Samsung, Apple, don't care about prices, but they should be caring about specs. Samsung, at least in this case, definitely isn't.

Multimedia. The manufacturer Samsung has lately been particularly associated with the Galaxy S smartphones series. However, Samsung is not an unknown manufacturer in the notebook field and, with the Samsung Series 5 550P5C-T02, sends a representative of the multimedia category into the race.
