How about the video card capacity? Could it play High Definition games(HD) ? In other words, is it recommendable for serious gaming?

How does the build quality of the E431 compare with the T-series. I understand that the T-series is maintained by IBM where as the Edge is a Lenovo only product. Also, the T-series is certified according to military specifications. Can we expect the same quality with the Edge ?
Wanted to go for the T series but due to budget limitations I decided to just stick with the E431. I don't expect T series quality by a long shot for just half the price. But this is a valid question I would like to know myself.

It comes with a 7 mm HDD but I would like to upgrade it with a 9.5 mm thick SSD. Would it be possible?

Affordable productivity. Lenovo's latest update to the ThinkPad Edge series brings with incremental hardware updates and some fresh connectivity options. Can it stand alongside its competition?
