Does anyone know of a good tablet cover for the surface that has a place for the pen?  I want something to protect my surface more.

I just ordered 2 of the soon to be release Freedom Case.  It holds the pen, even while charging, plus has additional angles.  Also, much more protective and fits perfectly.

Can you please compare the surface pro 2 to surface 2? should be obvious as you already compare it to other tablets. A comparison to so mainstream ultrabooks would be very nice too!

Hi. First, please, excuse my english. Second, congratulations, the reviews are very useful and give us a lot of information.
What i dont undertand, confronting the review of the surface Pro (first version) and this one. The rating here is for a tablet while the surface pro is a convertible. Impression rating is less than Surface pro, but the chasis is the same. Keyboard, is rated same, but new keyboards are retroilluminated (yes, i understand it is an option). Display rating is less, but really is better in this one (isnt it?)
Finally, application perfomance, same rating in two versions, while i read everywhere that this version really runs and feels faster than old one, thanks to the faster ssd, more memory, and the new CPU.
So i cant agree with this ratings table, but reading all details in the full review, i find it very useful and really intreresting, as we are used to read here.
Just i think there are some errors in the ratings table and maybe is because this version is reviewed as a tablet while older  surface pro was reviewed as a convertible (the right choice in my opinion).
Thanks and good job!

Cautious evolution. Microsoft's second iteration of the Surface Pro aims at eradicating its predecessor's biggest flaws while at the same time staying true to its original concept. We have done some extensive testing to find out whether this powerful Tablet PC with its high-resolution display does now indeed come closer to the idea of a perfect working device.
