Where one to do the download updates for the Asus TF700T there would be less problems. I just bought one and did all the download updates for everything that's on the tablet. Everything works very well.

 >:(I do not recommend this Tablet.  I paid $500 for mine and the dock charger is extremely sensitive.  My kid forced in the charger on the wrong side and it easily broke.  My iPad mini does not have this issue.  I tried to get it repaired at several shops and the parts are almost impossible to find so no one will repair it.  You have to go through Asus and their repair is upwards of $200 .  Also for all the top notch specs this thing is not impressive.  YouTube looks awesome on my iPad minis and horrible on the Asus

I have a tf700t and all I can say I RUN. The tech support is "do a hard reset. Oh that didn't fix it well send it in". In a year mine has failed twice. The first time it wouldn't boot at all. I sent it in and it took six weeks. It came back and the case was damaged and the earphone jack wouldn't work. Now the camera won't work and again well send it in. It isn't going to to be sent in it is going to get a hammer through it and I will go buy another brand. The camera issue seems to be common but they claim they never heard of this problem before although it is all over the webchats. So take the gamble if you want.

I do not want others to get stuck like chuck as I did. I bought the Asus Transformer Infinity TF700T and the attachable keyboard. I really did my reserach "so Ithought" where are all these lying reveiws coming from. I got one and it sucks. For this tablet being a Quadcore the main issue I have is its Browser and any other Browser that you may upload to it. I even loaded Google Chrome Browser and it is VERY UNRESPONSIVE. Something is wrong here and after I realized that this was an issue I researched again and found everyone else has the same problem. I had a single core Apple Ipad and all browsers I loaded plus Apple's Stock browser were very fast and impressive and this is on a single core tablet. Now I am stuck after paying near $1000.00 for the Infinity and Keyboard with a super slow browser and as for the other stuff that comes bundled most apps and programs work just fine. But I really want the browser to be faster even if it were twice as fast as it is now I might could deal with it. But if it were fast as say some other quadcore tablets then I would keep this piece of junk but as it seems Asus has no fix in the works for it as far as I know. Do not buy this garbage unless you are related to the Slowski's them turtles that love slow internet.

I would have been so excited to get this Tablets. Since it got best Specifications of all the other tablets ;). But after I saw that it only has 1GB RAM instead of 2GB, I got discouraged  :'( .

They putting all these incredible stuff into this tablet (Processor, etc.), but they gone cheap on the RAM.....that 1 GB, for me it defies the reason to buy the tablet. Since I suppose to multi-task on a tablet, and having only like 750 MB usable RAM (since at least 250 MB is always in use, if not 500 MB) takes longer to load applications if you already has other applications open.

It really discourages me from buying this tablet, because they gone cheap on RAM..... (about DDR3, it is NOT an improvement, in a 1 year or 2, the DDR4 is coming on the >market< [DDR4 was already out for 2 years]. So in my opinion it took them long enough, to replace the 10 years old DDR2 in Tablets).

So I'm going to wait for a new tablet, that can satisfy my needs.
(Well because all the other good tablets are Windows 8, which even more defies the reason to get a tablet.
Since you cannot get any third party applications)

I just hope that Asus will release a Tablet similar to this one or better, just with more RAM.

I have the TF700T & Docking keyboard. Also, ordered a USB adapter(allows a USB connection without the dock, $15.00.  I love everything about it, but the sound.
Audio is weak. I knew this b4 I purchased it, and am NOT unhappy with it.  I would recommend it to anyone in the market.  After a lot of research, it came down to the Samsung or Asus.  The Samsung looked good, but was locked out of NTFS storage.(A 4GB deal breaker for me)  At about the same cost, the Asus is a winner.  I have had powered and even a GoFlex 1 tb USB powered HDD, working fine.  A powered USB hub can help for power hungry devices.  If you use a mouse, the scroll wheel flips through the pages of your desktop quickly.  I gave my Xoom to my wife and the only thing I miss, is the better stereo sound.  My friend got the Asus TF300T cobo and loves it too.(a good compromise if the money is a problem) Cheers.. :)

Apart from screen, keyboard, battery, which I all find OK, I dont like holding the tablet due to the slightly sharp metal edges. Also, I find aluminum much less comfortable compared to rubberized plastic.

This stuff is true.. but what good is a kick butt tablet if half of the games in the google market you cannot download. For some reason there a sooo many games that you cannot download because of compatibility issues. Assassins creed, 9mm HD, Need For Speed most wanted, Dead space, Dungeon Hunters 3, Modern Combat 4, Asphalt plus many many more. As well going through the list of apps on the device there is NO JAVA..NO JAVA, unless it got its own. but the one you download and update from the market is not there. This Table it a fancy sports car with broken features. its got all the muscles but no strength. Although using a controller and playing Gta Vice City is fun but not worth the 700, because don't forget you need the dock for the usb plug. If you are you buying this for gaming DON'T again half of the games are not compatible. I thought I was upgrading tablets for Christmas, and really it feels like a let down.

Just Disappointed

Purchased this tablet and keyboard. Love it!!! Great for business, road trips, genealogy research, photography, movies. Purchasing a HDMI to VGA cable to use with digital projector for presentations. Couldn't be more pleased. Use it indoors and outdoors without any display issues.Keyboard is really quiet for taking notes at conferences.

I got caught up in the hype, reading all the reviews,so I bought the Infinity TF 700. I had it for a month and return it  for the ipad 3 and a ZAGG Bluetooth keyboard case. Never was a big fan of apple products. All other tablets uses the ipad as their model. The performance, can't be duplicated. I have no regrets, iPad 3 still the KING of tablets .

Hi, how did you manage to install and run Need for Speed Hot Pursuit?  I've installed the game from market but when I run it for the first time I get an error.  Same as these people are on this forum:
