Review Schenker XMG P723 (Clevo P370SM) Notebook
« on: July 16, 2013, 05:59:41 »
Gaming powerhouse. Schenker Technologies goes all out with their XMG P723. While a quad-core processor and a FullHD display might not be that out of the ordinary, a configuration with two GeForce graphic cards is not something you see every day. Does the SLI configuration make any sense or would a single GPU be the better choice?

I always wanted to see a benchmark for RAID 0 (stripping) on Clevo notebooks. This was a perfect oportunity since it was equipped with dual HDD. For me it was the single most justifiable reason to buy a thick (over 40 mm) and heavy (over 4Kg) Clevo notebook. I was hoping two 1TB HDD in RAID were a better storage than a single 256 GB msata, and in 1 - 2 years two 256GB or 512GB msata in RAID would make it really fly.
