Hi,

The Latitude E6540 (Haswell + Radeon HD 8790M) is now available.
I hope there will be a review soon.

Thanks for the good work.

I have got a new one...There is no obvious reason, the cursor will jump to locations within or outside of the random locations as you type. There is no solution for that. Dell sais is a problem of software and they don’t give the solution, as it's reported for a lot of people. Look for that on the net... Don’t buy it.

I'm using this laptop for about a year and i've experienced serious problems:
- two hard disks changed in three months... with data loss!
- the screen was loosely attached at delivery
- i still have a problem of electric chock while touching the metal part of the cover
........

I am using Dell Latitude E6530 Notebook with no problems.

Not so light weight, but powerful. I mostly utilize it as a desktop replacement with double (external) monitors, works well...

Excellent choice for a business premium class laptop. Offers many options i.e. caddy for a 2nd hdd instead of the optical dvd, slice 9 cell battery for an additional 5-6 hours for a total of min. 10 hours without a charger!!! I have upgraded mine to a 256gb ssd Samsung 830 series and 16gb RAM (always with a 64 bit O.S.) The 6530 will "eat up" several heavy tasks at the same time. No problems experienced for the last 18 months. By the way it has a spill proof keyboard!!
